Export Workflow
- Import feed data - Upload or connect your product data source
- Map fields - Match your data columns to channel requirements
- Apply transformations - Use rules to modify, filter, or enhance data
- Generate export - Create the feed file in the correct format
- Copy URL - Submit the public URL to your advertising platform
- Schedule updates - Set up automated regeneration to keep feeds current
Data Transformations Applied
Exports apply all configured transformation rules before generating the final file:
- Field modifications (replace, prepend, append)
- Conditional logic (IF/THEN with AND/OR conditions)
- Filtering (include or exclude products)
- Value mapping (e.g., "yes" -> "in stock")
- Calculations on numeric fields
- Text manipulation (uppercase, lowercase, trim, concatenate)
Export Statistics
Each export tracks:
- Total rows - Number of products/items exported
- Total fields - Number of data columns per channel specification
- Empty fields - Count of missing or null values
- Completeness score - Percentage of filled versus empty fields
Best Practices
- Keep URLs stable - Avoid deleting exports actively used by platforms
- Schedule appropriately - Match export frequency to inventory updates
- Monitor status - Check failed exports after data changes
- Test before sharing - Preview feeds using "Open in new tab"
- Use transformation rules - Optimize data before exporting
Warnings & Considerations
- Deleting exports breaks URLs - Platforms using deleted URLs will lose access
- Schedule times are in UTC - Convert to your local timezone
- Storage limits - Large catalogs may affect quotas
- Processing time - Very large feeds 100k products may take several minutes
