Exports

The Exports page is your central hub for managing all generated product feed exports. It helps you keep your product feeds up-to-date, share them with advertising platforms, and automate the process to save time.

Where to Find It

You can access the Exports page from the main navigation menu. This page displays a complete list of all generated exports for your active project.

Export History & Management

Viewing Exports

The Exports page shows a list of all your exports, including:

  • Filename: The name of the exported file (e.g., google_shopping_products_2026-01-03.csv).
  • Channel Type: A badge indicating the platform (e.g., Google Shopping, Meta Catalog, Pinterest).
  • Status: Indicates whether the export is completed, processing, or failed.
  • Row Count: The number of products included in the export.
  • Creation Timestamp: When the export was generated.

Deleting Exports

You can delete exports using the Delete button. A confirmation dialog will warn you that deleting an export will break any shared URLs linked to it.

Understanding Export Information

Public Feed URLs

Each export automatically generates a public URL, which you can use to share your product feed with advertising platforms.

Features:

  • Copy to Clipboard: Easily copy the URL for sharing.
  • Open in New Tab: Preview the raw feed file directly.
  • Platform Integration: Use these URLs with:
    • Google Merchant Center
    • Meta Business Suite (Facebook/Instagram)
    • Pinterest Business
    • TikTok Shop
    • Microsoft Advertising
    • 25+ other channels

Scheduled Exports

Scheduled exports allow you to automate the regeneration of your feeds to keep them fresh.

Frequency Options:

  • Hourly: For high-velocity inventory updates.
  • Daily: Set a specific time (UTC) for daily updates.
  • Weekly: Choose a day of the week and time.
  • Monthly: Choose a day of the month and time.

Managing Schedules:

  • Schedule Indicators: Scheduled exports show a badge with frequency info (e.g., "Daily at 08:00").
  • Active/Inactive Toggle: Turn schedules on or off without deleting them.

Export Statuses

CompletedThe export was successfully generated.
ProcessingThe export is currently being generated.
FailedThe export failed. Check the Activity Log for details.

Managing Exports

Creating New Exports

  1. Navigate to the Exports page.
  2. Click Create Export.
  3. Select the channel and configure settings.
  4. Generate the export.

Deleting Exports

  1. Locate the export you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion (note: this will break any shared URLs).

Typical User Workflows

Setting Up a Daily Export for Google Shopping

  1. Go to the Exports page.
  2. Click Create Export and select Google Shopping.
  3. Configure the export settings.
  4. Set a daily schedule (e.g., 8:00 AM UTC).
  5. Copy the public URL and submit it to Google Merchant Center.

Sharing a Feed URL with an Advertising Platform

  1. Generate an export for the desired channel.
  2. Copy the public URL.
  3. Paste the URL into the advertising platform (e.g., Meta Business Suite).

Checking Export Success

  1. Go to the Exports page.
  2. Look for the Status column to confirm successful completion.
  3. Use the Activity Log to troubleshoot any issues.

Best Practices

  • Scheduled vs Manual Exports: Use scheduled exports for regular updates and manual exports for one-time needs.
  • Recommended Frequencies:
    • Hourly: High-velocity inventory (e.g., flash sales).
    • Daily: Most common use case.
    • Weekly/Monthly: For stable inventory.
  • Secure URL Management: Only share public URLs with trusted platforms.
  • Test Before Scheduling: Generate a manual export first to verify settings.
