Activity Log (Change Log)
Overview
The Activity Log provides a complete, chronological overview of everything that happens inside your 42feeds account. It helps you understand what actions were taken, when they occurred, and what the outcome was.
The Activity Log is especially useful for:
- Tracking imports and exports
- Verifying successful operations
- Debugging unexpected results
- Understanding recent changes in your project
- Keeping visibility when working with automated schedules
Where to Find It
You can access the Activity Log from the main navigation.
URL: /activity
The page shows the most recent activity first and updates as new actions occur.
What Gets Tracked
The Activity Log records all important actions and system events across your projects, including:
- Feed imports
- Export generation and deletion
- Mapping and template changes

- Project-level changes
- System events related to processing
Each entry gives you context about what happened and whether it succeeded or failed.

Understanding an Activity Entry
Each activity entry contains the following information:
-
Title A short, human-readable summary of what happened.
-
Description Additional context about the action, when available.
-
Status Indicates whether the action was completed successfully, failed, started, deleted, enabled, or disabled.
-
Timestamp Shows when the event occurred using a relative time format (for example: "2 hours ago").
-

Using Filters
The Activity Log includes simple tools to help you focus on relevant events:
-
Category Filter Filter entries by category such as Imports, Exports, or Rules.
-
Entry Limit Choose how many entries to display at once (25, 50, 100, or more).
-

Typical Use Cases
Checking Import Status
Confirm whether a feed import completed successfully and how many products were processed.
Verifying Exports
Ensure an export was generated before submitting it to an advertising platform.
Debugging Issues
Identify failed operations and understand what happened before an error occurred.
Monitoring Automated Jobs
Track scheduled imports and exports to make sure automation is running as expected.
Reviewing Recent Changes
See what changed in a project, especially useful when multiple adjustments were made in a short time.
Best Practices
- Check the Activity Log after major imports or exports
- Review failed events immediately to avoid outdated or incomplete feeds
- Use the log before submitting feeds to advertising platforms
- Regularly monitor automated schedules to ensure consistency
- Use timestamps to correlate changes with observed issues
Limitations
- Activity entries are read-only and cannot be edited
- There is currently no search within the Activity Log
- The log shows all relevant system activity, even if no action is required
- Older entries may be grouped behind pagination or limits
